Do our thoughts and memories reside in our brain or it merely acts like a processor? Are our thoughts and memories stored outside the brain? If the brain of a flatworm is removed the new brain is regrown in a few days and the new brain retains the memories of the removed brain.

Does our brain receive thoughts like a television receives a transmission? If the transmission is discontinued, the television shows only a blank screen. If the television is switched off, the transmission does not cease to exist. A group of scientists believes that information, thoughts, and memories exist outside our bodies, and the brain filters in and lets only those impressions through our senses which are intended for us, otherwise,
there are large spectrums of colors, sounds, tastes, smells which other animals can sense.

 Some scientists believe that the information already exists in the cosmic design and we just synthesize it and claim that we have created something new. In short, there is a possibility that our thoughts are stored in an iCloud type of medium, and consciousness was created at the time of the big bang.
